Kombucha FAQ.

What is kombucha?

Kombucha is fermented tea. We brew sweetened tea with a SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast), which ferments it into a tangy, fizzy drink. Simple as that.

What's actually in it?

The base is tea, water, sugar, and a bit of starter kombucha. From there we add fruit and herbs during the second fermentation. That's where the flavor comes from.

Is it good for you?

Kombucha is a fermented food, so it comes with live cultures. Research on fermented foods is ongoing and we're not going to make wild health claims. What we will say: it tastes great and people love how it makes them feel.

Does it have alcohol in it?

All kombucha has trace amounts of alcohol from fermentation, but ours stays well under the 0.5% ABV line that would make it an alcoholic drink. You're good.

How much should I drink?

4 to 12 oz a day is a common starting point, especially if you're new to fermented drinks. Plenty of people drink more with no issues. Listen to your body and go from there.

Do you ship?

Yes, anywhere in the US, and shipping is always free. We pack orders within 1 to 3 business days and they usually arrive 1 to 4 days after that.

How do subscriptions work?

Build any pack, pick every 2 weeks or every month, and you get 10% off every box. Your card is charged on schedule and we ship right after. Want to skip, swap flavors or cancel? Email info@nolisouth.com and we'll take care of it. More on subscriptions

What's the Booch Club?

Two experimental flavors a month, 12 cans, shipped the first week of the month. It's subscription only. See the Booch Club

How do I store it?

Keep it cold. It's a live product and it keeps fermenting slowly at room temp. In the fridge it's good for months.

Why cans?

Cans keep light out and keep the fizz in, they're lighter to ship, and they recycle better than glass.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes. Cafes, shops and bars from Panama City to Pensacola carry us in cans and on tap. Wholesale ordering is here, or email info@nolisouth.com.
